Gantry Crane: Installation and Acceptance Standard of Trolley Conductor
 
     
 
After finishing installation of trolley conductor, gantry crane operators should check whether it is up to the relevant standard. Detail installation and acceptance standard of trolley conductor of gantry crane is as following:

1. The support should be taken antiseptic treatment, continuous welding, firm installation, consistent mounting-hole site.

2. As to set spacing, the operators should remember below specific data.
A. H-type singlet line: under 300A, the set spacing is less than or equal to 1.5m. Above 400A it is less than or equal to 3m.
B. Multiline seamless trolley conductor: the set spacing is always from 1.0m to 1.5m.
C. Pipeline type: the set spacing is from 1.0m-1.5m.
D. Cable-tackle type: set spacing is from 1.0m-2.0m.

3. Suspension parts should be put on the right position and installed firmly.

4. The main parts of the trolley conductor.
A. The intervals between protective shell and conductor should be less than 2mm.
B. The allowed miss height between trolley conductor and the core of track is less than ±15mm.

5. The number of compensators has a fixed figure and the gap should satisfy stretching condition in theory caused by max temperature difference on the installation spot.

6. The square steel holder of current collector should be welded firmly.
A. The biggest allowed gap between center line and trolley conductor in vertical direction is ±3mm.
B. As to size of square steel holder and trolley conductor, we should promise a parallel of movable arm and trolley conductor and the difference is about ±3mm.  

7. Fastener:
The torque of screw cap should stand by the recommended parameter.

8. Power supply:
A firm incoming end terminal is safe and sensible, which can’t bear tensile force.
