What’re the rated load test run of gantry crane?
After test run of gantry crane without load, rectifying the fault to do the rated load test run.
Due to the condition limit of yard, when the crane is running with load , it very hard to have 0.5 times rated load’s condition. So taking the method to lifting box girder directly to do the test run with heavy load(1.0 times), the operational process as following: after the two cranes move to their places, deal with spreader, start the winch, fasten the steel rope in advance( the steel rope start to fasten), and the stop the crane, lifting the single lifting point at first, the single lifting point make the girder leave the pedestal 3cm, and stop to watch the braking , then adjust the braking , lifting and down 3 times(the lifting height≤10cm) to make sure the brake regularly. After adjusting the single lifting point side well to make the single lfiting point leave pedestal 5cm,stop, and adjusting two lifting point sides, the way is same to single lifting point, then do the load test run at the same time.
