How to install the large-scale gantry crane(Part II)?
3) Install support legs
Lay out sleepers on the ground, put 2 sections support legs on the sleepers with 50t crane after support legs are transported into the field (support legs outside should be
downward), support legs are vertical to the rail, adjust elevation and keep upper surface in a level, make connection surface of 2 sections legs reach the demand of the specification, connect support legs with bolts
Lift and install support leg head part with gantry crane, rear part with 50t crane. Connect support leg and bottom cross girder with bolts after lifting and fix them with 4 wind cables. Install another group with the same way.
4) Install main girder
Lay out sleepers between 2 groups of rails, put main girder sections on sleepers with 50t crane, adjust elevation and upper camber, connect main girder with bolts
Lift main girder with 2 sets 120t truck cranes to put on the support legs, align bolt holes and connect with bolts. To make main box girder installed in a accurate position, overshoot positioning after basic positioning, then fix them with bolts immediately.
Rigging rope to lift main truss girder should use φ40mmsteel wire rope, 2 ropes for every lifting point, safe lifting capacity for single lifting point should be 30t at least
5) Lift and install lifting trolley
After re-check for the main truss girder installation is qualified, install trolley with 120t crane on the main box girder rails. Install immediately safe stoppers at two ends of trolley rails and ladder, platform, railings and other parts for the main box girder before installing lifting trolley. Anchoring is demanded before wearing chains after installing trolley.
