What’re the mixing system of concrete batch plant?
The mixing system of concrete batch plant consists of mixing device, driving device, and discharge device.
a) Mixing device (Picture 1)
It consists of mixing drum, mixing shaft, and sealing devices of shaft ends. There are also replaceable linings on the inner surface of the mixing drum, mixing blades on the mixing shaft, and two scrapers on both ends of the shaft. The mixing shaft is supported on the seats on both ends of the drum. Two sets of sealing device are mounted on the two seats.
Multi-blade design, with two more mixing blades than ordinary design, will ensure a more homogeneous mixing and higher productivity for its oval screw. The wear-resistant chromium steel lining has a hardness of 600HB, guaranteeing a longer working life. (Picture 2)
b) Driving device (Picture 3)
It is a specially made gearbox and will have at least 5 years smooth operation without any oil leakage. The belt transmission avoids wearing of gears and becomes idle automatically when the blades are blocked, avoiding overload of motor. The gearbox is of a kind of around-star pattern which has high efficiency and small volume and easy to be repaired.
c) Discharge device (Picture 4)
Materials are discharged from a hydraulic driven bottom gate. There are 3 or 4 holding points with a set of switches to facilitate the filling of mixer, eliminating the shortcoming caused by only one stroke. The bottom gate is sealed with a special designed rubber ring, providing an effect of thorough anti-leaking. A manual pump switch is specially designed for the hydraulic system of discharge gate, enabling an emergent discharge in case of power cut.
