The overhead crane is used for lifting melt metal, high temperature substance and other places in metallurgical industry, because the melt metal belongs to the high temperature product, we must pay attention to the following contents:
1. The manufacturing of overhead crane must adhere to the rules of drawings , technology and others standard.
2. The mating electric hoist must choose the metallurgical hoist; and the steel rope must have relevant protection steps with asbestoses core and electrical equipment and the whole machine’s working temperature should be 5℃－55℃ .
3. Every time EOT crane should lifts melt metal and heavy loads, we should check and confirm at first.
4. At the first lifting every shift, the driver should test lifting according to the small height and short stroke in order to check the reliability of crane’s brake device, transmitting mechanism and safety device.
5. The driver should adopt the suitable working speed, in order to start, run, bake and stop stab lily in case of the damage of swing.
6. The vessel for shipping melt metal can’t be filled too full.
