The safety regulation procedures of 900T gantry crane
The gantry crane for girder-lifting is super heavy hoisting equipment. To guarantee the staff safety, the safety regulation procedures must be carried out well.
1, The safety requirements in operation
1.1 Check that if the slings and pulleys are appropriate and in good condition, particularly the cracks in the positions like leveled, broken or no oil stocking.
1.2 Prohibit tampering, disable and misusing any safety device.
1.3 Before starting work, the operator must ensure that he can strictly abide by all safety standards, and the machine itself is in proper operating condition.
1.4 When the machine is shutdown (either the normal stop or because of security factors, emergency condition and downtime). The safety staff and persons in charge should be responsible for checking that if the other staff has executed all the routine security measures.
1.5 Any construction performed by this machine, the specific requirements must be prepared and the good construction site should be arranged before starting.
1.6 All the cooling devices such as the fans can not always be shut off (for example being covered or bonded).
1.7 Before starting work, the operator must check the emergency brake and limit switches, and make the record.
1.8 The machine operation (before and after working, in the working process) should strictly comply with the safety, as well as on the overall safety and accident prevention precautions and warnings. Any negligence (including neglect of the precautions and warnings) would result in serious accidents.
2, The general provisions of the safety regulation procedures
2.1 The crew must pass the examination and achieve the certification, operation without a license is strictly prohibited.
2.2 The crew must carry the physical examination and do the professional operating technology training. Also be familiar with the relevant operation essentials and all the safety precautions.
2.3 The crew must strictly enforce all the security measures not only in the operation process but also before and after working. Issue a safety warning signal to other colleague during working and pat attention to the answering signal from other colleagues.
2.4 The crew must be focus on the job in the process of working. Prohibit reading, eating food, frolic, absence from duty and other unrelated things. Forbid alcohol before starting working.
2.5 The crew members must wear overalls and safety helmets. Wear safety belt and non-slip shoe in high-altitude operation. Take measures of keep warm and antifreeze in winter construction.
2.6 The crew must have a hand command, unified command signal. The assignment of jobs should be clear to maintain coherence.
2.7 The working area is only for the personnel. Prohibit throwing objects down from the top of the main girder.
2.8 Ban modifying the electronic control procedures for lifting. The arbitrary changes or adjustments to the safety equipment should be prohibited.
2.9 Forbid randomly doing the maintenance on the equipment going against the specification requirements and modifying the parts capacity.
2.10 Stop operating when the wind force has reached grade 6 and take some protective measures.
2.11 Comply with all the safety warning put up on the device and operator’s room.
2.12 For the important safety devices such as the spreader, steel rope, winch brake and rope, limit switches, guard rails, safety nets, someone should be arranged to monitor them in the operation process and fill the reporting forms periodically.
3, Before the operation
3.1 The shift personnel should check together on the major safety devices such as: brakes, limit switches, the security fence around the top surface of the pier and safety nets.
3.2 The operator must be sure that he is in the security state, the device is in good condition and no other ones are at risk.
3.3 Check the parameters of the pumping station are within normal range.
3.4 The operator needs to confirm that there are no obstacles in the working area. And the sufficient space should be provided for lifting, operation and traveling.
3.5 Check that the steel rope is in tension state. The reel and winding rope of the pulley are normal.
3.6 After confirming that the generator, electrical installation all parts are in good condition, go back to zero of the control handle. Pull the bell before booting.
4, In the process of operation
4.1 Forbid the operator leaving in the case of suspended loading. Ban the hoisted objects staying in the air for a long time. And prohibit staying and passing through under the suspended loads.
4.2 Do not touch the spinning wheel, the moving steel rope and the spreader in the hoisting state.
4.3 Prohibit dragging, traction and flipping the heavy objects with the machine.
4.4 Forbid lifting the objects with the machine connecting with the ground.
4.5 Do not leave the spreader on the ground or the surface of the lifted objects.
4.6 Against the rapid changes in steps while the multi-step operation.
4.7 Switch on the emergency brake once the staff is found in danger.
4.8 Shut down the machine once found the abnormal phenomena and damaged parts.
4.9 During the operation, slow down when the machine is approaching the beam stocking pedestal, girder transporter or the end position.
5, After the operation
5.1 When the machine has finished operation. Put the stop braking in working condition.
5.2 All the control handles need to go back to zero after the hook has lifted.
5.3 Do the maintenances according to the requirements. Send some one to take care of it.
6, The generators
6.1 The drivers must be professional trained, healthy and familiar with the operation manual.
6.2 Check the cable connection and other conditions, also equipping with the grounding circuit protection device.
6.3 Do not allow the consecutive start the motor, at least 10 seconds interval. Warm up 5 minutes after booting.
6.4 When the generators are working, the display instrument is in working status.
6.5 When the machine has shut down, ensure that the gantry crane has ceased working and all the personnel has evacuated from the working area. Then cut off the power supply and down to idle speed. Shut off the engineer after the machine is in empty load condition for 5 minutes.
