MGHZ1200: Application and Maintenance of Frequency Converter
 
           

Indroduction about the frequency converter:

The universal frequency converter for a gantry crane with 1200t lifting capacity adopts the newest control power appliance made from semi-conductors. Influenced by temperature, humidity, vibration, time and other surrounding conditions, frequency converters may have something wrong. In order to keep the best using effect, maintenance for the frequency converter everyday is necessary.

To do’s and don’ts during the maintenance:

1. The operators must affirm the input power from frequency converter directly and make sure it is under cut off.

2. After power cut, there is still high voltage left in the main circuit of frequency converter.

3. The operators must release and make sure the residual voltage in the electric condenser, after that they can go on the next procedure. And the reference steps are as following:

a. Cut off the power.
b. After five to ten minutes later, charge lamp will go out.
c. Use a multimeter to measure the DC filter capacitor, making sure the voltage is less than 36V.
d. Maintenance the frequency converter.
e. If you need a direct measurement for output voltage, a rectifier a.c voltmeter is in demand. Other general voltmeters or figure voltmeters  
to test high-pressure pulse may give rise to mistake action or incorrect display.
