What are the advantages of connection of crane(PART I)?
There are riveting, welding, pin connection, bolt connection and high-strengthen bolt connection of gantry crane, their advantages and disadvantages are following:
1. riveting
Advantage : reliable transmission force, good tenacity and plasticity, easy checked quality, and anti dynamic load. It is very suitable for the heavy-duty and bearing dynamic load directly structure.
Disadvantage: complex structure, large amount steel, inconvenient construction and loud noise.
2. welding
the welding is the most extensive way for connection.
Advantage: strong adaptive geometry structure, and save material; convenient manufacture and automatic operation; good connection tightness and high structure rigid.
Disadvantage :high connection rigid ,causing residual stress and deformation of structure, the weldseam has the strong sensibility of low temperature.
