How to use the pincer in maintenance of gantry crane?
There are kinds of pincers used in installation and maintenance of gantry crane : wire cutting pincer、sharp nose pincer, wire clipper, wire stripper.
The pincer is used very frequently which consist of pincer-head and pincer-handle. The pincer-head is made up of jaw, tooth, edge and cutting mouth.
Caution:
1,when using pincer, checking the insulation of pincer-handle . Don’t allow to operate it with electricity.
2.cutting energized conductor singly by wire cutting pincer.
3.when operating with electricity ,the distance between hand and metal should be kept 2cm.
4. the acting parts should keep lubrication in order to make sure flexibility.
