How to repair and maintain the structural parts of the gantry crane?
The MGhz1200 gantry crane is a special hoisting equipment for the large bridge project construction. To guarantee the continuous operation of the crane and the safety of the personnel, the daily inspection is necessary.
Do a completely check on the connection condition of the structural parts at least once every month including the bolts and screws of the main beam connecting plate, the main beam and support leg, between the support legs. Ensure that the connection status is normal without loosing. Once the abnormal phenomena were founded, stop operating and dealing with them immediately. If there is necessary to replace the bolts and nuts, it should be guarantee the original intensity level and specifications. Furthermore the check should be carried out once a week.
The main welding seams which require to be inspected frequently include the upper and lower cover plate and the main beam web plate, the vertical welding seam between the rigid and flexible support legs, the welding seam between the two sets of the support leg and the upper and lower beam. Check that if there are tear and fatigue cracks phenomena for the welding seam, if the hidden danger exists, it should immediately cease operation. When the cracks have been found with naked eyes, however we couldn’t judge the extent of the harm, the weld flaw detector device needs to be used to figure it out. Then take some reasonable measures to deal with it.
Brush the paint on the structural parts once every two years. Before brushing with the steel brush, clean the surface and pay attention to the status of the welding seam. In the process of the disassembling the structural components, transportation, forbid the barbaric operation and violent collision. The special lifting hook and spreader should be equipped with during hoisting. The connecting bolts, pins need to be classified to store after demolition and prevent confusion stored. For the connecting plates, the process of their disassemble, installation must be totally in line with the principle of “condemnation” and avoid the confusion. Ensure that they are clearly marked for every disassembly and assembly.
Note: After the crane has operated with full loading, all the connecting bolts must be checked fully and tightened.
