Not only the quality of box type precast girder is critical, but also the erection method is important. In order to promise the safety installation of box girder, please notice the following items:
 
1.Bridge erecting operation should be in clear division. Commander, operator, electrician and safety inspector must be special and trained with certificates.
 
2.Bridge launcher is OEM according to the actual construction site and erection method should be special.
 
3.Before erection the bridge launcher must be tried at first and all equipment should satisfy the safety factor for operation.
 
4.Before crossing span, operators should adopt some measures on erected girders to increase reinforcement, such as add sole timber.
 
5.Before lifting girders, sole timber need to add on the corner. During lifting, speed must be kept uniform and stable. 
 
6.There is fasten measures on girder transporter for girder transporter.
 
7.The position of hoist point should be very near to the designed bearing point to the greatest extent.
 
8.Each newly erected girder must be set temporary support immediately. After the second girder erected, weld it as soon as possible. After finished one span, begin the construction of diaphragm girder to keep the overall stability of bridge girder.
