Overhead crane span structure moves along the overhead rail track, anti-collision device is one necessary safety device for overhead crane.
Anti-collision device of overhead crane is mainly made up of:
1. Distance detection controller
Its main function is to deal with signals received by laser sensor and then to correspond relevant motions of alarming and relay by detected distance
2. Laser range detector
Its main function is to launch light beam to baffle board and receive reflected signals, thus provide distance to host computer for distance calculation between overhead crane and detected objects.
3. Baffle board
Baffle board reflects laser to certain direction with min loss.
Below are steps to install anti-collision device:
1. Launch board installed on the objects at the opposite site of detector is in a straight line with sensor axis of detector, laser source can be used for auxiliary installation;
2. Warning alarming voice prompt is installed in the cabin, use cable and connect wire according to wiring diagram;
3. Switch on for normal work after the cable is connected and confirmed in good condition.
