1, Motor and gear reducer maintenance
Check frequently the temperature of the motor housing and bearing parts, the motor noise and vibration condition.
In the case of frequent starting, the ventilation cooling capacity will be reduced due to the low-speed, and the current is large. The motor temperature will rise largely soon. So it should be noted that the motor temperature rising shall not exceed the upper limit phenomenon under the instructions.
Adjust the brakes according to the motor requirements.
The daily maintenance for the reducer can refer to the manufacturer’s manual. It should always check the anchor bolts of the gear and eliminate the loose connection.
2, The traveling mechanism lubrication
Open the reducer ventilation cap firstly for the first time to guarantee the better ventilation and reduce the internal pressure. Before coming to work, check the reducer lubricate oil height to meet the requirements. If it’s lower than the normal level, fill up the same type of oil timely.
The wheel bearings of the traveling mechanism have been filled with enough grease (Calcium-based grease) in the assembly process. So there is no need to the daily refueling. Add up the grease every two months through the filling hole or opening the bearing cap. The demolition, cleaning and replacement of the grease should be done once a year.
Smear the grease for the open gear engagement once a week.
3, The maintenance for the winch
Observe the oil window of the reduction gearbox frequently to check that if the lubricant oil is within the specific range. Once the oil level is below the prescribed limit, fill it up timely.
If the gantry crane is not be used frequently, the sealed condition is good and the operation surrounding is favorable, replace the grease in the gearbox every six months. If the operation environment is worse, replace it every quarter. When found the water in the gear box, or the bubbles always occur in the surface of the grease, it proves that the oil has gone bad, replacing it immediately. The changed oil should be strictly in accordance with the instruction during the replacement, prohibiting the mixed usage.
The bearing bases on the both sides of the roll should be filled up the grease every two days. Smear the grease on the roll surface and the steel rope according to the actual conditions. The rolling bearings of the fixed, movable pulleys need to be added up the grease once a month.
Add up the oil for the rod axis of the braking system every week.
