After knowing the working principle of electric hoist of gantry crane , the maintenance of electric hoist is an important content we must know. 
1. At least 4 times maintenance every year,  for example, cleaning parts by diesel oil and the lubricating using calcium-based grease.
2. After finishing work every time, at first wiping the mud, dust or oil which adhere to the steel rope of the loose end of electric hoist, and then loosing jaw,drawing out the steel rope, and then winding the ropes in order, and wiping all the ropes, then putting the ropes in the drying air in case of antirust.
3. When the mud, dust or oil pouring in module inside, washed by water and then cleaned by diesel oil; cleaning and drying by calcium-based grease; loosing the jaw and then clean the grease and water by fair cotton yarn.
4. When the jaw wears and tears, the bearing capacity is less than 80% rated load, replacing it; when the diameter of steel rope reduced up to 10%, we should change the steel rope.
