Track of Overhead Crane

 
Traveling track of overhead crane is important components to support the total weight of overhead crane and lifted load. 

Track of overhead crane should satisfy below technical requirements:
1. Top surface: to bear crushing stress from carriage wheel.
2. Under surface: have enough width to decrease crushing stress from carriage wheel.
3. Section: have favorable bending strength.

Track for overhead crane always adopts steel in 38k/m、43kg/m、50kg/m and QU type.

Under long term working, track of overhead crane may have abnormal phenomenon, such as deformation, sub-plates falling off and etc. It is necessary for the operators to check it in regular:
 
1.Whether there is crack, loose or corrosion on the track of overhead crane. If so, change new one in time. Crack of track can be inspected with special detector.
 
2.If there is small damage at the top of track, it can be filled with electric soldering, then smooth with grinding wheel. The wear of top and flank of track for each side should be less than 3mm.
 
3.Connection bolts of fish-plate should be more than 4 pieces. 
 
4.Each group of sizing block of trolley track should not be over two pieces, the length must be more than 100mm and the width should be 10-20mm wider than the bottom of the track. Distance between two groups of sizing block should be more than 200mm.
