The Introduction of the Structure of the Gantry Crane(Ⅰ)


 
The gantry crane consists of crane walking mechanism, gantry, main longitudinal girder, people walking parts as well as lifting trolley.
1.Crane walking mechanism
Crane walking mechanism is made of two driving wheel boxes and two passive wheel boxes. There are two walking wheels inside the driving wheel box, one driving wheel and one passive wheel; the speed reducer is assembled outside the wheel box. When the wheel box works, the speed reducer is driven by the brake motor.
The passive wheel boxes are similar to the driving wheel boxes. The difference lies in that the passive wheel boxes are lacking in motor, speed reducer, open gear and so on.
2.The gantry
The gantry is made of the main girder, flexible leg, steel leg and joist. The trigger is connected to the main girder with the bolts, which is easy to assemble, fast and firm.
One of the legs is welded with a row of ladder, through which the operators can go to the operating room or the people walking parts.
The operating room consists of the operating room itself and electric cabinet. The operating room is welded with the steel panels. There are glass windows in the front of the operating room and on the two sides of it. People can observe the whole thing happening in the field.
All the control system of the gantry crane is assembled in the operating room, in which the operator can control all the behaviors of the crane.
