1. The gantry crane with single or two main beams
Generally, the gantry crane with one main beam is fit for the following conditions: the lifting capacity is less than 50t and the span less than 35m without other special requirements. If the span of the gantry legs is too big, the work speed too fast, the work frequency too high, or the heavy or huge objects  is lifted too often, then the gantry crane with two main beams should be used.
 
2. The length of the span and the cantilever
The span of the gantry crane is the main factors that influence the quality of gantry crane. Under the condition of meeting the standard of equipment using and span, the span should be shortened as much as possible.
 
3. The dimension of the goods can pass the triggers. 
 
4. The distance and size of the gantry crane
There should be placed left between the dimension of the gantry crane, the goods and the transport vehicle channel.
