In order to prolong the block’s life, we need to do the following steps:

1.       in case of the parts’ deformed, the block of gantry crane shouldn’t be broken in the assembling and disassembling.

2.       according to the work and environment to make sure the search cycle. The longest cycle at least a time one quarter. Or do a static load test with 1.6 times rated load.

3.       opening  and repairing  the block and then washing the parts by gasoline, and then painting the lubricating oil and rust preventing oil and finally reinstalling the parts.

4.       if the block can’t work for a long time , we should clean and paint the rust preventing oil.
