9. safety device of crane
The following safety device should be installed in the gantry crane:
1) the hoisting limitator(travel switch), capacity limitator, weight display instrument, overspeed protection and wind alarm ect. should be installed in the main and auxiliary lifting mechanism of trolley.
2)the trolley travel mechanism and crane travel mechanism should install travel switch or stroke limiting head, and the two end s of trolley should install buffer device ect.
3)the crane installs two sets travel deviation-correcting device, upper deviation-correcting device and lower deviation-correcting devices, they work respectively, but their have the same aim, thePLC automatic deviation-correcting of the two sets devices to make sure the distance error of right and left legs is in the range of safe deviation value .
4) the anemometer is installed at the highest point of crane to make sure the operator can know the wind speed, when the wind speed exceed the allowed value, cut off the power automatically, and the crane stop to work.
5) rail clamping device and anchor equipment should be electric interlocking with crane travel mechanism .
6) the door of ladders sets up electric interlocking switch with the referred working mechanism to make sure the personnel can go and in safely.
7)considering the crane which can work at night safely, the high light lighting group are installed at top platform of legs and the anterior inferior of cab to make sure the crane works at night safely. And the upside of main girder and electric room ect. where the workers need to go , to make sure their safety , the lights should be installed .
8) anemometer
The anemometer is installed at the right place in the highest point of crane.
(1)the anemometet can show the wind speed 0～40m/S,the wind speed can be displayed in the cab .
(2) the measured precision : 5％.
(3) the anemometer can direct and display the wind speed in the cab.
9) lightning rod
(1) to avoiding the lightning strike, the lightning rod should be installed at the hightest point of crane.
(2) all of choice and installation should meet the rules of lightning rod in China.
10) safety instruction
(1) crane travel instruction
When crane is traveling , the acoustic optic device of travel mechanism to send acoustic optic sign to warn the personnel.
(2)alarm
The alarm is installed at the outside of cab to send sound sign when the communication system fault or it can’t contact with the ground.the working site can hear the alarm sign clearly.
(3) the setting and collocating of communication system , lighting system, heat,ventilation and air-condition should meet the users’ requirement.
