1. Erecting bridge girder in the special climate including:
(1) Erecting the girder in the wind when the wind force up to class 4-6
(2) Erecting girder in the rainy season or after rain, such as, erecting girder in the heavy rain or in the long-term rain.
(3) Erecting girder in the chill season, such as the ice, snow and low temperature
2. We shouldn’t work via hole before the bridge girder launcher when the wind exceeds class 4. Erecting girder is prohibited when the wind exceed class 6. We should distinguish follow wind, transverse, frequent or intermittent wind when erecting girder in class 4-6 wind. We should consider the following questions:
(1) stability
According to weather forecast, we should fix the launching gantry in order to protect the bridge girder launcher from the attack of sudden wind.
(2) the swing of girder
We should pull the girder and fall slowly by chain hoist in order to protect girder from swings severely.
(3) protection
The workers must have reliable safe installations when erecting girder in the wind.
3. we should take steps in rain season according to the quality of base, the days of raining, total rainfall and drainage ect, in order to protect girder or bridge girder launcher from accidents.
(1) erecting girder is prohibited when the base start softening or running off
(2) checking the base carefully , if the base affected is less by rain, then we can erect girder
(3) Electric leakage and electrical short circuit easily when the bridge girder launcher works in the rain, we should take precautions carefully.
4. operation should conform to the following rules in chill season
(1) The ice and snow on the supporting cushion must be cleared completely. The support pillar is prohibited to settle on the cushion with ice.
(2) The angle iron should be preheated before joint cover welding and the scaffold floor should have anti-slip device.
(3) In order to protect the lubricating oil and the oil in the tube from solidification.
